AGRICULTURA SOIL FERTILITY

Soil fertility is the quality that best defines your ability to supply nutrients to the plant. It is understood that soil is fertile when it contains a large part of the nutrients essential for plant development and which, moreover, are assimilable form.

The fertility of soil is a result of its biological, chemical and physical characteristics, and that, in a simple way, rests on the ability to provide optimal conditions for the growth and development of plants. In this way, the soil may be fertile chemically but show some physical properties suitable for the development of little vegetation. The weather also plays a major role in the fertility of the soil; in this way, a soil may be fertile but not produce in situations under extreme climate. In our case, are irrigated by the Royal irrigation channel territories of Montcada wherein fertility soils, with some coming in a strong, moreover, associated agricultural productivity. Proof of this is the long history of agricultural exploitation that is registered in this field.
